Exams’ Preparation Leave :~)

Hello Everybody!!! … I know u ppl never saw a lazy blogger like me ever in yr lives.But now a days ufff….will tell u later in this post.First of all here is good news for most frequent visitors n commencers of my blog.YEAH from now I’ve added enetation’s comments on to my template…. today finally I’ve got time to take such a kind act ;) [hehehe…].BUT also my old comment box is firm at its place now…bcoz now I m not in mood to remove my old comments….will think about it later….u can comment anyone of the way u want ;) .Actually I wanted to use haloscan but they r so badtameez ppl …they were claimed me as a spammer n wanted soo many clearifications.So who just helped me out to use enetation, its all credit goes to Vaqas…thanx again [V]….InshaAllah after my exams I will also change the entire template of my blog…lets hope for the best:).
Well ppl! On 10th of January my finals of this semester is ready to rush…date has been declared.I know 10th its not that much near…I can manage my blog slowly as well…but the thing is happening around me is one of my cozin’s wedding.HAFSA!!! u are soo rite this wedding season why always comes parallel to our exams season :( ?….it sucked.Also! my khala & her entire family just came few days ago for purposes of spending winter vacations & attending the wedding as well.The biggest surprise these ppl have given to us is that when they reach at our house so My Naani Ammi was also with them in the car…so I m soo happy.Thats y all the time full hungama in my house has been prevailed bcoz another khala’s kids have been also came to spend their days with us.My room, which is also a PC room is now a days servicing for my guests so this is also a main reason for updating my blog very late. Now ! u can imagine my condition, my exams & all my social activities….ughhhh….toba hay. But I have shifted my all books n essential things to downstairs in a store room…BUT it becomes quiet difficult to manage sometimes….thats y I’ve planned to attend just mehendi & Valima ceremonies. I know all my cozins who have recently arrived from South Africa & Saudi Arabia for attending this wedding plus both of the ppl are also my closest cozins who r getting marry with each other will kill me…but ab kia karain :( .Tommorrow ! InshaAllah my lovely Mudassir is also coming:).Yummmy…now a days I m enjoying full of fun in these winter with special dishes of winter made by my naani…like Gaajar ka Halvaaa,Sooji kay laddoo,hot n spicy soup n many more…our Ammies also make all such very good…BUT jo naani Ammi kay haath main maza hai who baat nahi hai:)…that’s y we all grand children do special farmaishs to naani to make all such dishes for us & she happily make for us:).Aray! I’ve kicked out my old computer away …yaahoooo…YESSSSSSSS….we had a planning to replace our whole PC…so my khaaloo…whom u can say an expert in know how for all…one day went with my brother to Saddar market of Karachi…n buyed all new PC equipments…even mouse as well :D …so now its looking more good to do blogging with such innovative environment :) .InshaAllah I will enjoy a new arena in this world of blogging after my exams with full of fun ;) …the most dashing thing is our new monitor…its like office equipment 21 inches large. InshaAllah I will post the pic of my whole PC table after my papers…through my new digital camera….yes NEW:)….my brother once asked me on fone about the birthday gift still due on him,,,,so I became most bay-takaalluf girl :D & said for a digital camera[ as our old one has completely obsolete now]…so my taaya Abu n Taayi Ami are coming at the end of January from UK will bring my new digital camera for me, sending by my brother….wow.Oh ! Now my same brother’s birth very near to come on 2nd of January,sooooooo>>>>>>>>>Happy Birthday! My Dear Brother>>>>>>>Missing U soo Much with the depth of my Heart,waiting for your arrival,cant wait any more:(.

A Seminar!….Not Boring,Indeed :)

Well, I m here again after a whole week bcoz,I was very buzy with many events in parallel. My this week-end was quit good & eventful unlike the normal week-ends bcoz Saturday & Sunday mostly I’ve holidays so my all day pass with my text books…..Hhhhh besides cleaning n dusting of my old books’ shelves plus my room’s cleaning…..lolz.
Yeah on Saturday at Sharp 9:30 AM in uni’s Auditorium we had a seminar ,that was really superb, just bcoz the guest speakers were invited were really remarkable people. All were the business executives & designated at the highest authority levels in the leading organizations of Pakistan. This Seminar was organized by one of well-built society of our university’s MBAs. The topic of discussion in that seminar was “Current Challenges of Advertising in Pakistan”. There were 4 high qualified all from abroad universities guest speakerz all were Pakistanies as well , were talk very technically,with great facts & through excellent way on the topic, named.
1. Mr Faisal Mohammad

In his speech he talked all about the challenges that Pakistan is facing in the area of Idea Mktg,Social plus Society Mktg. He more elaborated his presentation with great examples that r really true,With an excellent way of delivery.The one things that we like most in his speech that he was he talked about the commercial was playing way back on our televisions of ‘IODEN mila Namak’,he said that some foreign health specialists came to Pakistan for a survey on new born babies n they found that Pakistan’s new born babies has a deficiency of IODEN which is very necessary for any person I.Q plus mental n physical growth so they suggest a sufficient plus economic way through which IODEN can reach upto the babies of urban plus rural area families n those for who too cant afford it through any expensive product ,so they suggest IODEN through salt.But even after all this they had met with many challenges bcoz of those extremists who don’t want to see family health ads in Pakistani channels n they said that they r vulgar not suitable to play on the channels of Islamic Republic of Pakistan who r just so called family channels.
2. Dr Syed Asif Hassan
He got the Award of world’s youngest PhD after finishing his Doctorate degree from Business School of Philippines in MARKETING & more in his credit is that he has also challenged to Phillip Kotler [who needs no introduction in the area of Marketing] in many of his marketing concepts in his tour to USA & Dr.Kotler even admits n accepts all those concepts have been elaborated by Dr.Asif Hassan.
He is now doing his services as Director, Insight & Business development Orien McCANN, ERICKSON.
When he just came on stage we all came in the state of sudden surprise bcoz we were thinking that he would be the man who was looking old among them 4 gentlemen.BUT u know what! he is the most youngest one among them….amazing for us at that time, that a very young boy like guy with PhD degree:).He was quiet humorous n seems funny by face[this fact became unveiled when he started speaking:)].He start his speech for talking about those foolish ads of Pakistan that have nothing to see, appreciate & admire[n often we ppl see such ads on our televison whenever we switch any of Pakistani channel:)],he even gave a funny example of an ad may be u guys know n saw of ‘GAYAY SOAP’[Gayay= cow]…lolz.He said that, he himself has a collection of world’s best 1000 ads among them only 10 or 11 are local. More in his speech he talked about to vanish ‘Zapping Behavior’ among the consumers of Pakistan who mostly watch ads n then get the idea about product n organization’s performance after viewing that ad n they r very large in number, zapping behavior is the behavior to switch off or change the channel when commercial on TV begins after anybody’s favorite program or changing channel while watching TV which has become so difficult with increasing number of media channels is to make such ads in Pakistan even around the world.
3. Mr Yasir Riaz
Did his MBA(Marketing) from IBA in 1996 n started his career as an ordinary manager’s post in TCS,Now he is working as a General Manager in Pakistan’s Top most Advertising Company named MINDSHARE.
By face he was looking like a very serious guy unlike the previous speaker,he came very first to the stage so we were thinking that this seminar is seeming very boring.But after the start of his speech he talked very well about different tools n tricks to make an ideal ad with full perfection.He disclose A,B,C,D,E of advertising which is very interesting to listen n even see,yes bcoz he clear this A,B,C,D,E concepts through displaying excellent ads from power point slides through multi-media which was kept in his note book at that moment.A=>Attention,B=>Brand-link,C=>Communicate,D=>Discriminate,E=>Engage are those tools that an ideal ad contains.He individually elaborate such tools with the help of different ads for each tool,all were the foreign ads of foreign brands NIKE, PEPSI, REEBOCK shoes, AXCON perfumes that I really never saw on any local channel nor on any foreign channel,all were really remarkable ads:) after every ad our auditorium was thrilling with our applause bcoz what! he was trying to say through that ad was very to the point n true too.In the end he showed an ad for whom he said his most favorite ad it was,which was not of any product but its logo signs about old personalities was wounderfull too.

He was the oldest man among them all about 59 to 62 n has much wider working experience then all previous speakerz.The topic he bought out infront of we the audience is indeed very interesting n humorous was that ‘How some ads make people fool?’ by putting different specific offers that have no benefit for its consumer rather it wastes our own time-cost.The way he picked to elaborate such facts is no doubt very interesting n sort of funny too:)[including many funny examples].One most interesting thing he had also told us which is indeed very informative as well about those ads who mainly we see in newspapers rather on media channels which showing one’s faith truly wrong n discussing For Example, he gave a true example about an ad published in USA’s largest selling newspaper ‘New York Times’ that was very against to ‘Jihad’ the ads was as follows:
“Your God wants to save himself by getting your children’s life, die in the battle field,unlike our God, that’s why your mothers send her child happily for jihad.Thats the reason our mothers don’t desire to send her son in the battle field to save her son’s life.Kindly save your child not for the sake of your God” (AstaghFirullah), how u people think for such worst n curse like publications that r truly against to one’s religion…*sigh*.

AmAzInG !!! An Interview With A Sweet Little Girl

wa alaikum assalam, thank-you

Can you give us brief information about yourself ?

Sara:
My name is Sara, I am 14 years old and in high school. I live in the U.S.

IslamWay.com:
Welcome sister Sara .. I’m really amazed to see someone in your age searching for the truth .. let me admit that . Can you tell us .. how did you know about Islam for the first time in your life ?

Sara:
Yes, the first time I heard about Islam was about 3 years ago, I was curious about God and religion and wanted to know what others believed. I started reading different materials and read about Islam. I was amazed by how much sense it made.

IslamWay.com:
Isn’t it kind of strange to start reading about religions when you were 11 years old .. is there is any special thing that you have other than other kids around you ?

Sara -smiling-:
I suppose it is strange to read about religion at 11, most my friends didn’t understand how I could be so interested in finding God. My family is Christian, and I have been raised in religion, so it seemed only natural for me to study religion thoroughly and decide on my own what the truth was.

Did you read the Quran ?

Sara:
Not at that time, no.

IslamWay.com:
“A Muslim woman is oppressed and needs to be librated like the western women” .. do you have a comment about this ?

Sara:
It saddens me that so many people in the world today believe that Muslim women are oppressed. I believe that we are the most liberated women on earth! To follow the guidelines Allah has given us is the most liberating thing any woman can do.

IslamWay.com:
Well .. from what you see in the west .. are the women there librated ?

Sara:
No, most women in the west are oppressed. We are used as sex symbols. Most women wear outfits that barely cover them, they use their bodies to get attention. We are expected to have ‘perfect’ bodies by the media’s standards, we are supposed to look and act a certain way, and we are expected to do whatever the media tells us to do, and that is to disrespect ourselves and Allah.

IslamWay.com:
So did you wear the hijab ?

Sara:
No I do not. I would like to very much, but my family is unaware that I converted to Islam, and I will wear the hijab after I tell them.

IslamWay.com:
You think that you will have problems with them after telling them ?

Sara:
I’m not sure. I supose I am allowing my fear to keep me from telling them.

IslamWay.com:
I see .. Just ask Allah to give your the power and the patience to take this step .. and I guess all Muslims who are reading this interview now will make du’a for you to ease things in sha Allah ..

What is the thing you liked most in the Muslims community ?

Sara:
I admire the dedication Muslims have to Islam, there is an amazing peace and grace that Allah gives to those who serve him as completely as they can. To many it may seem hard to follow Allah’s guidelines, but Allah gives every Muslim an amazing strength to help them. What I liked most about the Muslims I met was how friendly and caring they were.

“Most of Muslims nowadays are not practicing Muslims .. ” first of all .. what do you feel about that ? And is that why Islam is not spreading too fast ? And what would you say to a none pracitcing Muslim ?

Sara:
1) I firmly believe that the statement “Most Muslims nowadays are not practicing Muslims .. ” is false. I do not believe you can truly be Muslim without being a ‘practicing Muslim’. Islam isn’t just a religion, it’s a way of life. That’s one of the many things I love about it.
2) Islam is one of the fastest growing religions in the world, I believe the reason for this is that people see the truth in it, and when they decide to live to serve Allah, they are given an amazing happiness and grace that others see and admire, that is what draws people to Islam.
3) Trust Allah, serve him completely, and he will give you the grace, peace, and happiness you need to be a ‘practicing Muslim’.

What is your future plans ? Your dreams ?

Sara:
I’ve always had a dream: To become a leader in our world and once again help establish peace and good relations between different people.

IslamWay.com:
Do you have any plans for learning arabic ?

Sara:
Yes. i LOVE languages. It’s something that i enjoy very much, and my parents support my Arabic education, I will hopefully begin taking a language course this Fall. My dad lived in an Arabic speaking country for years, and so he would help me study.

oh i see .. which country ?

Sara:
Sudan (in Africa)

Can you tell us in details how did you revert to Islam ?

Sara:
I had originally heard about Islam about 3 years ago, my parents found out that I was reading about it and discouraged me from doing so, studying it much further. Then last Fall I started highschool at a new school that has a lot of Muslim students.
When I first started going there I remembered my studying and was curious about how they would act. My parents had told me Muslims were horrible mean, militant, abusive people. So I kind of expected them to be that way, I was wrong! The first couple of friends I made there were Muslims.
They were nice, friendly, caring people. I remember them talking about their God, and I was amazed by how much they loved Islam. I began very quickly began respect them, and quickly became very curious about their beliefs. A friend of mine asked them about Islam one day, and it turned into a several hour long conversation about Allah, and Islam, and daily life. I was suprised by how much sense it all made, and how happy they were. I began reading the Qur’an and looking for more information on the internet, and soon after I said the shahadah and converted to Islam. I’m still amazed by how happy and peacefull my life is. Allah has given me much strength in every day life. Inshallah my parents will see this.

A Neuteral Point Of View

Assalam O Alaikum everybody!!!
My this Post is not againt neither Umema Siddiqi’s recent post nor Vaqas Ashraf’s.But what I just extract out from both of these ppl’s post is my neutral point of view on the topic Women’s Right bcoz this topic is a partof my real life as well,YES,in uni sometimes we all classmates get combine & arranges such controversies on the same topic whenever we get time in which both of the teams [girls v/s guys] speak well from their sides on the things that have been discussed by both of these bloggers, at the end of which I always conveys my this neutral point of view.LOOK! Vaqas n Umema we both have to become a little optimistic over here in order to understand this Women’s Right thing.Lets move on this Cold War.
Vaqas! first I m going to write from yr side,ab KHUSH !!!
Actually ppl Vaqas wrote very well in his post that some women who r just so called social workers of our country doing nothing in order to help out needy & violated women of rural plus urban areas rather they r only exposing themselves into the eyes of media just wants the focus of big orginizations for generating funds & these funds I don’t know where these funds go after ,if only few pennies of these funds spent for the purpose for which they have been collected then near to half of the population of rural area’s women could get proper education.I really feel so much dejection whenever I saw these women on the talk shows present exclusively by GEO & ARY-ONE channels in which they just come with TONS of make-up layers which do nothing except just potraying their already horrible faces more horrible.They just sit n talk over their which’s purpose only for them is to expose their own personalities plus all expensive dresses & jewelry stuff they are cover with at that time.BUT what we ppl r expecting from them actually they r not even doing part of 0% for that purpose.I Don’t know why these women even have forgotten the roots for which they r fighting YES they r fighting for an Islamic state named ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN for which they must have to become n show themselves a Muslim woman as Vaqas said very very very well that they’ve thrown away their hijabs n their haircuts are nearly equal to guys [which is one of the signs of Day of Judgment] even they claim that they r the true well wishers of muslim women as being themselves good MUSLIM WOMEN….Oh God!Does Muslim woman r like u?plzzz leave all those differences b/w jew woman & a MUSLIM WOMAN mentioned in Qur’an.U know because we r running away from the clutches of Islam thats y Pakistani Qaum is the most Badnaam-e-Zamana qaum of the today’s world ,that’s y we’ve sticked into the darkness of violation,unjustice,corruption,black economy etc.YES!I agree[V] if these kind of social centers can turn OFF then nothing is better then that for our country ……*Sigh*.
Now! Coming to Umema’s Side.
YES Dear Umema!!!We r living in this male-dominated society where women r highly suppressed ,this is indeed a major fact from which no one can deny,I hope u too [V]. Besides what all Umema said is cent percent correct But I like to talk on those points about which Vaqas said against women.He said women have special quotas at jobs,so [V] these all r man made rules YES they themselves promote us to come n join them in their offices just bcoz oftheir evil natures.U know how much problems a working woman faces during whole day during she’s performing her duties in offices not only this at home as well,Shohar kay Taanay,Saas kay Taanay,in-laws kay taanay,har aanay jaanay waalay kay taanay,Rishtay daroon k taanay & moreover.If she become fed-up after all such then she cant even leave their jobs bcoz their husbands restrict to do them bcoz they themselves don’t have handsome salaraies for the consumption of their childeren.Now tell me, can she leave husbands like them?…nahi na.Even here in my side woman all in public plus private organizations come with parda[hijaabs+ Niqaabs] n do their duties like same despite of all this guys never leave them to stare & tease[look now a days parda even cant secureable them].Karachi! the business capital of Pakistan,U know 70% of pakistan’s economy come from karachi side,so u can imagine the labor force in which woman have larger part not equal to man but now due to the ever increasing number of necessities its growing,so u can also imagine how much she is more hardworker then man,taking care of her kids,servicing their laws n husband plus all domestic chores she do parallel to her official jobs despite of all this she is day by day suppressing ,abusing ,made fun toy of guys outside,molesting n many more violation she has been targeted by.U said [V] that woman always get priority to stand ahead n get chances at first in ques at public places,so I beg yr pardon bcoz these all r bookish things n have no consult with reality…hunh.The reality is exactly opposite man don’t even show respect for old women just proceed them ahead in ques not even taking care about their old weak soul….To phir baki aurtain to bahut dooor ki baat hain.Umema sketches a V.Good image of public transport yeah most horrifying place for us n for man most desiring place,they themselves fixed place for us ahead just providing them convenience to stare rather at back,Sometimes I saw man entering from women’s door even they have separate enterance & sometimes they crossed limits in overloaded buses to enter n sit on our compartment’s seats .Now tellme all fathers of their daughters don’t have such ‘haisiat’ to buy a separate car or hire door to door transport for them.After all such unfairness Vaqas aap Man Right’s centers ki baat karaty ho.If u see this level of unjustice with urban area’s woman so now u can imagine how much rural area’s woman sufferes that even so painful to write about.
Umema u know what! another category of these mard-hazraats came through my observation with whom their qismat is soooo much meherban n they became something in our society so they talk about another extreme & u know what is it? Wait!.lemme tell u ! they say that we pakistani women r soo backward,Uneducated or less much educated[whatever],yeh duniya main kuch karnahi sakteen & sometimes our simplicity becomes soo much for them that they start calling us ‘Cheap’ [ohhh wow ! What a level of education is this…shabaash] u know if these kind of educated ppl start entering to take part for our country’s development then start thinking about bad time is very near to begin nahi! bad nahi very bad…Really is there any misuse of education present for observance then plz don’t forget to tell me.Really these both are the two extremes in men among them we women have tightly stucked in b/w somewhere.Jiss kay dill main jo aata hai kah daita hai…n they claim themselves that they r the well wishers of our country n muslim Ummah.yeh to logoon ki aankhoon main dhool jhonknay kay barabar hai……….

*Khalil Gibran*….My All Time Favorite

Well ‘Khalil Gibran’ needs no introduction … what i just often use to say for my all time favorite is that he bought out many pricious pearls from the ‘Ocean Of Thought’ through his remarkable Philosophical mind.I always love to read digestable Philosophy..i know its not that much easy to read & understand the surface & obviously the depth of Gibran’s quotes but though they invite readers to come n concentrate towards things that are less magnified But necessary to listen , think , feel ,understand,learn….
